Line Cook
Misi adheres to the idea of “simplicity at it’s finest”. Our Italian-focused menus emphasize high-quality, simple ingredients. As a result, our Line Cooks must be very intentional at every step to realize the perfect balance of flavor and properly executed dishes. Technique, speed, precision and a willingness to learn contribute to success and growth in our Kitchens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prep assigned station mise en place.
- During service, efficiently receive and fulfill ticket orders from the Chef/Expeditor.
- Execute assigned station dishes to meet standards of Chef. Includes grilling, saute, pasta-cooking and vegetable-focused preparations.
- Maintain an organized and clean station in accordance with Department of Health and kitchen standards.
- Prepare family meal.
- Breaking down and cleaning your stations at the end of service.
- Assist with training new team members.
