As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Syracuse, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, observe building activity, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support daily property operations by assisting with visitor directions, monitoring after-hours access, and completing routine reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
