Interim GL Accounting Manager
Our client, a fast-growing technology company, is seeking an Interim GL Accounting Manager to support operational accounting needs during a period of rapid expansion.
- Oversee month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Drive audit readiness by cleaning up prior-year data, tie-outs, and developing SOPs
- Support ERP implementation preparation, including data organization and process documentation
- Perform GL and operational accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations, flux analysis, and journal entries
- Establish scalable accounting systems and internal controls to support growth
Requirements:
- 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- CPA preferred and prior experience in high-growth tech or startup environments strongly desired
