About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Plaza New York Times Square Hotel as a Server AM . In this role, you will be integral in facilitating a working atmosphere based on respect, collaboration and continuous learning. You’ll leverage your expertise in high-quality dining experience to contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation .

What You’ll Do

• Efficiently set up tables, clear away used tableware promptly, and provide attentive coffee and tea service during breakfast hours.

• Reset and align tables properly to maintain standard layouts in preparation for the following service.

• Replenish dishes, cutlery, glassware, cups, and all necessary dining utensils throughout the shift.

• Refill and replace products for juice machines, coffee stations, and portable liquids; thoroughly clean all machinery at the end of the service.

• Safely transport chinaware and dirty utensils to the dishwashing area using a utility cart. Maintain a spotless, sanitized cart at all times.

• Manage recycling, transport recycling bins to the compacting area, and safely operate trash compaction equipment.

• Complete all final closing tasks and wrap-up duties as designated by the Head Waiter.

• Maintain a positive, helpful, and proactive attitude, paying close attention to the "small details" that elevate the guest experience.

• Attentively listen and respond to guests' wishes, special requests, and suggestions.

Job Requirements

• NYC Food Handler Certification Required

• Proven experience as a Server or Busser in a high-volume, upscale hotel or restaurant setting.

• Must be available to work early morning shifts ( Day Shift ), including weekends and holidays.

• A warm, welcoming personality with a genuine dedication to guest satisfaction and a proactive attitude toward the "small details

• Excellent multitasking abilities.

• A collaborative mindset focused on mutual respect and continuous learning,
