HAKUBAI - A Fine Dining JAPANESE Restaurant is Seeking for Skilled Sushi Cook.
The Japanese sushi cook is accountable for preparing and executing traditional sushi dishes with precision and authenticity. They are responsible for sourcing and ensuring the quality of ingredients while demonstrating expert knife skills and impeccable technique in creating culinary masterpieces. Tasks include crafting sushi rolls, sushi nigiri, and sashimi, while maintaining strict consistency and adhering to food safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Prepare various types of sushi dishes according to established recipes.
Ensure that all ingredients and equipment are properly sanitized before use.
Monitor inventory levels and inform management of any shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient preparation of orders.
Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings.
Manage food costs by minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
