Payroll manager / hr administrator
Landscape Details is seeking a hands-on and organized Payroll & HR Administrator to manage employee payroll and assist with HR operations across our landscape design and construction company. The ideal candidate will be discreet, detail-oriented, and adaptable, ensuring smooth payroll cycles and consistent administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll (Paychex experience preferred)
- Administer PTO, healthcare, 401(k), dental, vision, and life insurance
- Coordinate employee onboarding and recruitment
- Manage workers’ compensation claims and audits
- Generate and review payroll reports for accuracy and compliance
- Provide flexible administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- Payroll processing experience required (construction or landscaping industry a plus)
- Familiarity with Paychex and HR recordkeeping systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
- Flexible and proactive work style
