WorkFit Medical Staffing is excited to announce an opportunity for Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our School Substitute Pool. This unique position allows you to support student health and wellness in various schools while enjoying a flexible schedule. As a school nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting a safe and healthy environment for students and staff alike.
Responsibilities include providing nursing care to students, managing chronic health conditions, administering medications, and responding to medical emergencies. This role is perfect for RNs seeking to make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Experience in pediatrics or school nursing preferred, but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to emergencies effectively.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to different school environments.
