We are pursuing an practiced Medical adjunct to work at a specialty office located in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a temporary assignment, which could turn into a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate.


As a Medical adjunct, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have previous practice working in a medical office, and be expertiseable in areas such as medical terminology, patient assessment, and basic medical procedures.



Medical adjunct Key Responsibilities:

»Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms

»Obtain and record vital signs and medical histories

»Assist with medical procedures and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals

»Administer medications and injections as directed

»Prepare and maintain patient records and other documentation

»Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

»Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of exam rooms and medical equipment

»Perform other related tasks as assigned.



Medical adjunct Requirements:

»High school diploma or equivalent

»Completion of an accredited Medical adjunct program

»At least one year of practice working in a medical office

» expertise of medical terminology and basic medical procedures

»Excellent communication and interpersonal expertise

»Strong attention to detail and organizational expertise.
