Position: Full-Time
Salary: $400,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Role Summary
The Gastroenterologist delivers direct patient care through consultations, diagnostic evaluations, and procedural services. This role emphasizes continuity of care, efficient workflows, and a predictable weekday schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive GI patient evaluations
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
- Interpret lab work, imaging, and pathology reports
- Manage chronic and acute gastrointestinal conditions
- Communicate findings and treatment options to patients
- Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active or eligible New York State medical license
- Experience with outpatient GI procedures
