Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Elmhurst, New York

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)

Hours: 35 Hours per Week

Shift: Day Shift – 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Schedule: Alternating weekends and holidays required

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $70/hour

• Total Weekly Gross: $2,450

• Weekly Stipend: $630

Position Summary

A well-established healthcare facility in Elmhurst, NY is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patients, including general and vascular studies, in an acute care setting.

This assignment includes a two-week training/orientation period (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), including EPIC EMR training.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound exams for adult and pediatric patients

• Conduct vascular ultrasound studies

• Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards

• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation

• Provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment

Required Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer ( RDMS ) through ARDMS – Required

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program

• Minimum 1 year of general registered ultrasound experience

• Experience in an acute care setting – Required

• Strong general ultrasound skills (adult, pediatric, and vascular)
