Responsibilities
- Provide care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations (left and right heart) in the cath lab.
- Monitor hemodynamics, Swan-Ganz status, and procedural sedation; identify and respond to dysrhythmias; ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
- Chart patient data and procedures in EPIC; maintain accurate documentation and compliance with unit policies.
- Collaborate with cardiology and interventional radiology teams; assist with pre- and post-procedure care and patient education.
- Float within the hospital as needed within scope of practice; participate in the posted call schedule.

Requirements
- NY RN license active and current
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years cath lab / IR RN experience; travel experience required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
- EPIC charting experience or proficiency
- Relias EKG exam completed within 72 hours of signing; target score of 100% with onsite pass criteria of 85% and identification of all critical rhythms (remediation as needed)
- Healthstream required modules and orientation: all required Healthstream modules (excluding TB Testing, Orientation Checklist, and Stroke Care policy) must be completed by 7:00 AM on the Wednesday prior to start; orientation is 8 hours
