As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer, you will work directly with executives and operators to understand their most critical objectives, architect and build end-to-end workflows on enterprise data, and deploy production-grade applications that unlock significant operational value. You will not just ship code; you will reshape how organisations work. What You’ll Do

• Work directly with customer stakeholders to uncover high-value problems and define the ideal future state.
• Architect, build, and maintain production-ready applications that operate on large, complex datasets.
• Transform messy, disparate data into intuitive tools and workflows used by operators and executives.
• Iterate rapidly by scoping, developing, deploying, and refining solutions at startup speed.
• Own the full delivery lifecycle including scoping, data integration, analysis, application building, and operationalisation.
• Serve as an embedded technical partner to customer teams, driving real business change.
• Contribute feedback to internal product and engineering teams to help shape scalable, reusable solutions.
• Travel as required, typically between 10% and 33%, for discovery, implementation, and rollout.

What We Look For

• One to five years of experience as a full-stack engineer, data engineer, or deployment or implementation engineer.
• Proven ability to build production-grade software from ambiguous or evolving requirements.
• Strong data reasoning and analytical skills, with confidence working with structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in Python and or TypeScript and the ability to learn quickly.
• A track record of high performance and excellence, whether in professional roles, academics, or notable extracurricular achievements.
• Experience in startup-like environments where autonomy, speed, and ownership are expected.
• Ability to work independently, make high-quality decisions, and fully own outcomes.
• Comfort working with non-technical stakeholders and presenting to senior leaders.
• Enthusiasm for hybrid in-person work in New York preferred or willingness to travel regularly to New York if based elsewhere.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and a quantitative major such as Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field.

Bonus Points

• Experience building production machine learning, LLM, or data science solutions.
• Experience delivering production front-end applications using React.
• Experience with Spark or distributed compute systems.

Location and Eligibility

• New York is strongly preferred. London, Washington DC, and Denver may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Non-New York hires must be willing to travel regularly to New York.
• Eligible for OPT and H1B transfers, but new H1B filings are not supported.
