Senior Construction Project Analyst, on-site
About the Role
As a CBRE Senior Construction Project Analyst, you willsupport one of CBRE's clients within the financial and professional servicessector, working onsite at the client's corporate headquarters in New York City.You will be responsible for overseeing client construction projects whileensuring timelines, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction objectivesare met.
This role operates at the intersection of buildingoperations and construction project delivery, requiring close collaborationwith both technical and non-technical stakeholders to successfully execute workwithin active, occupied facilities.
This position is part of the Construction Managementfunction and is responsible for ensuring all construction-related deliverablesare completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicablestandards, regulations, and client expectations.
What You'll Do

Conduct periodic inspections to verify work quality andcompliance with established standards.

Support project reporting by guiding report writers andreviewing Construction Risk Assessments to ensure alignment with clientrequirements.

Establish and maintain project tracking tools,including capturing requirements, developing project plans, and monitoringprogress.

Review contractor payment requisitions, budgets, changeorders, job cost reports, lien waivers, and supporting cost documentation.

Validate construction schedules, disbursement plans,agreements, and submitted documentation; recommend release of funds based onprogress, compliance, and budget status.

Ensure critical work activities are properly planned,coordinated, approved, and executed-typically on a weekly cadence.

Partner closely with building Operations teams toensure work proceeds without disrupting site operations and complies with allapplicable regulations and site requirements.

Obtain required client approvals prior to execution ofcritical activities.

Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders includingsecurity, fire life safety, property management, engineering teams,contractors, vendors, and on-site service providers.

Serve as a liaison between Operations and Project teamsto ensure alignment, clear communication, and safe execution of work inoccupied environments.

Communicate project scope, schedules, risks, andexecution plans clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of technicalexpertise.

Apply working knowledge of construction and operationsprinciples to resolve routine issues and meet project objectives.

What You'll Need
-
Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevantexperience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will beconsidered. Working toward or eligible for Professional Engineer (PE) orRegistered Architect (RA) licensure is preferred.

Experience in commercial or industrial constructionmanagement, with the ability to support projects in active, occupiedfacilities.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings,specifications, and related technical documentation.

Foundational knowledge of base building systems (e.g.,electrical, mechanical, plumbing, life safety), with an understanding of systemfunctionality and interdependencies rather than hands-on trade execution.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to solvemoderately complex problems by applying technical knowledge, judgment,standards, and established procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, includingWord, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive, detail-oriented mindset.

Advanced math and financial skills, including the abilityto calculate percentages, fractions, and cost-related figures accurately.

New York Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Construction Project Analyst position is $140, 000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Construction Project Analyst position is $149,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
