OSINT Analyst

About the Role
We are looking to hire an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst to support our growing enterprise risk intelligence monitoring team.RANE’s OSINT Analyst team reviews and analyzes open source information for events and emerging issues that represent enterprise risk for our clients. Our analysts utilize our proprietary AI-driven toolset to filter and review information, and then use their expertise in enterprise risk topics to select items that are relevant to our clients. These risk-relevant items are published to our enterprise platform, or are delivered as daily or weekly custom risk intelligence briefs to specific clients.


Our customer list spans a diverse range of industries, and requires analysis of a wide variety of risk topics, but our main areas of concentration are geopolitical; safety & security; cybersecurity; and legal, regulatory, and compliance.



Key Responsibilities

• Production of content for our platform and client risk briefs:

Curating and verifying open-source news articles, legal analyses, blog posts, and regulatory announcements using our proprietary AI-driven toolset and other online sources, editing and publishing risk-relevant items to our enterprise platform, publishing assigned risk briefs at designated times throughout the day and/or week

• Reviewing data and training our proprietary AI models to ensure they are up-to-date on the evolving risk landscape,
• Writing short-form analytical content for our platform and risk briefs.
• Working with a global team of analysts to constantly improve and fine-tune the monitoring products.

This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates or individuals with only a few years of relevant work experience to get direct exposure to a range of geopolitical, security, regulatory, and cybersecurity issues.



Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Good working knowledge of current events, particularly in the areas of geopolitics, regulatory/compliance, ESG, financial crime, cybersecurity, and/or supply chains.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Basic knowledge of AI tools and comfort using them (no coding knowledge required).
• The candidate must be detail-oriented, have a proven ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines, and be able to successfully collaborate with others.

This is a fully remote position, and may involve early morning hours for North American employees. As such, ideal time zones for candidates would be US Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Central Time (CST), Western European Time (GMT), or Central European Time (CET). Any US-based candidates must be authorized to work in the US without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
