MEMBER practice SPECIALIST

»Providing excellent member service to our members while processing everyday member and shared branch member transactions.
» everyday balancing of cash drawer and incoming checks.
»Performing account research and responding to telephone inquiries.
»Working together with the branch team to resolve member questions/transaction decisions and escalating to the branch manager as needed.
»Opening and closing membership accounts, shares and share certificates.
»Assisting the loan department with the capability to educate members regarding basic loan products and being able to accept applications if the Loan agent is unavailable.
»Helping members using electronic services, including online banking, bill pay, our mobile app and mobile deposit.
»Using active listening expertise to provide cross-service / education about credit union products and services that would benefit the member
Qualifications required
»Prior customer service and cash handling practice required.
»Basic knowledge and prior practice with basic lending products preferred.
»Must have availcapability to work Monday - Saturday (when scheduled for a Saturday a half day off is granted during the week).
»Branch location for this job offer to be determined - must be able to travel to either location.
