Job Description:Key Account Manager positions offered by Euroclear Bank S.A./N.V. (New York, New York). Responsible for the management of the overall relationship with key clients and for leading day-to-day relationships with clients. Leverages deep understanding of clients business needs and ensures client readiness for strategic technology solutions. Serves as main point of contact for clients and works to maintain and enhance client satisfaction through proactive engagement and tailored solutions. Oversees activities across multiple services and business areas for an assigned key U.S. client base. Builds and maintains strong client relationships and satisfaction by managing these key client relationships through proactive engagement and tailored solutions. Provides day-to-day advice and support, researches and obtains resolution on a variety of highly complex client complaints and issues, and ensures that client needs are met and concerns addressed in a timely manner. Implements strategic projects using Euroclear proprietary systems (EasyWay, TaxGenix, FundSettle, and Taskize). Provides training to clients either in a classroom setting or at their premises. Identifies business opportunities and business at risk with clients. Handles clients post-trade securities business in the U.S. and international markets. Serves as liaison between clients and compliance, sales, supply chain and other Euroclear divisions. Provides guidance, assistance, and training to junior staff. May conduct training for entry-level representatives. Minimum Requirements:Require a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in business, economics, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the position offered or 5 years of experience assisting with queries related to the flow of settlement instructions and settlement functionalities, including: partial settlement; linking; back-to-back; multi-listed securities; settlement formats in SWIFT (MT 530, MT 540-543); SWIFT reporting (MT 544-MT547, MT 548); T2S (Target 2 Securities); CSDR (Central Securities Depositories Regulation); and T+1 in the U.S. and international post-trade market rules. In lieu of a bachelors degree in the aforementioned fields and 5 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a masters or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 3 years of experience as stated. Also requires 2 years of experience: assisting with client queries in the post-trade environment related to settlement, cash transfers, corporate actions events, tax, funds, securities lending, and collateral management ; assisting with queries related to the flow of cash transfers, including credit, foreign exchange, format of money transfers instructions in SWIFT (MT 103, MT 202, MT 210, MT 292) and SWIFT reporting (MT 900, MT 910, MT 940, MT 950); reading corporate action events; assisting clients with reporting for various types of corporate events (exchange offers, exchange options, meetings, fungibilities, purchase offers, disclosures); reconciling income payments, including coupons, dividends and redemptions; and assisting clients with submitting paperwork for tax certifications and tax reclaims on such payments; managing queries related to fund order routing and collateral management (contract management, collateral giver/taker profile set up, initiations, substitutions, collateral margins); managing client accounts for diverse client portfolios including global custodians and central banks; using Salesforce and O365 tools. Requires 1 year of experience managing escalations for a local account management team. Position reports to New York, NY office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
