TBM Plant Manager
- Oversee operation and maintenance of tunnelling plant (TBM systems, slurry plant, bentonite systems, pumps, conveyors, cranes, ventilation systems)
- Manage plant installation in shafts and staging areas
- Ensure continuous operation with minimal downtime
- Supervise plant operators, mechanics, and technicians
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and spare parts inventory
- Ensure compliance with environmental and NYC DEP requirements (slurry handling, wastewater)
- Optimize plant performance and cost efficiency
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical issues
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and certifications
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Min. 9 years in tunnelling project operations
- Experience with slurry TBM or microtunnelling plants (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of maintenance systems and site logistics
- High level of English and/or Spanish
- Opportunity to work for a major Tunnelling contractor on a long-term project
