As a Patrol Unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming atmosphere. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors within a healthcare environment by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in a healthcare setting.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site-specific protocols.
+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as necessary to address incidents and/or emergencies.
+ Remain alert and observant while performing patrols to help to deter theft, disturbances, and/or hazards specific to a healthcare location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
