STRUCTURED FINANCE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY / MID-LEVEL

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 50 firm , is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Structured Finance Practice Group in New York . This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid-level associate to work on sophisticated transactions across a range of asset classes and finance structures within a collaborative and high-performing team.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction , in good standing
• 4+ years of substantive experience in structured finance , lending , securitization , or similar finance structures
• Strong deal experience at an AmLaw or similarly sophisticated law firm handling complex structured finance transactions
• Experience working across multiple asset types and transaction structures is preferred , but not required
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and work effectively under deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Represent issuers , underwriters , lenders , and other market participants in structured finance transactions
• Draft and negotiate transaction documentation , including offering documents, credit agreements, and security agreements
• Advise clients on deal structuring , risk assessment , and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate all aspects of transactions from inception to closing , ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with client objectives
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to address complex, multi-jurisdictional issues
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic, business-oriented legal solutions

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary : Expected annual base salary of $310,000+ , as determined by experience and market factors
• Eligibility to earn a discretionary bonus
