Private Practice Marriage and Family Therapist - LCSW, LMFT, LMHC

The Gooding Wellness Group is a premier group psychotherapy practice located in the historic village of Cold Spring Harbor, NY. As we continue to grow intentionally, we are seeking experienced, motivated clinicians to join our collaborative and well-established team. These are fee-for-service (1099) positions ideal for clinicians who value clinical autonomy, professional growth, and working within a supportive group practice.

We are specifically seeking a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a strong clinical focus on couples and family systems . This position is part-time initially, with the potential to build toward full-time based on clinical interest, availability, and caseload growth.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Current New York State license as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
• Minimum 3 years of experience providing couples and family therapy
• Strong background working with:
• Couples in distress and relational conflict
• Family systems and intergenerational dynamics
• Substance use and its impact on relationships
• Ability to conduct thorough relational assessments and develop effective treatment plans
• Knowledge of evidence-based couples and family therapy models
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• EMDR training is highly encouraged

Compensation is percentage based on income received through psychotherapy sessions and paid out bi-weekly. Candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our fun, connected, and positive minded group of clinicians. Candidate will be 1099 employee.

Requirements are:

*Current State of New York license as an LCSW, LHMC, LMFT or Licensed Psychlogist. Fully licensed applicants only.

*Prior private practice experience is a plus.
