Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 hours per week

Travel Pay Range: $60 – $65/hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled and registered Ultrasound Technologist for a 9-week travel assignment in Brooklyn, NY . The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and the highest imaging standards in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, position, and assess patients for ultrasound examinations following established imaging protocols.

• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring accurate image quality and optimal system performance.

• Transfer and manage imaging data within PACS and coordinate with Radiologists for timely interpretation.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the exam room, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment readiness.

• Adhere to hospital, departmental, and infection control policies and procedures.

• Participate in the training and orientation of new technologists as required.

• Perform related administrative duties including documentation, scheduling, and patient coordination.

Qualifications

• Certification: Registered with ARDMS or ARRT (Ultrasound) .

• Experience: 2–5 years of recent experience as a Registered Ultrasound Technologist.

• Technical Skills: Proficient with PACS and Microsoft Office applications.

• Core Competencies: Excellent communication, analytical, and patient care skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
