Corporate Accountant - NYC
Kforce has a client seeking Corporate Accountants in NYC. Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts, (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks, etc.)
- Perform detailed account reconciliations, including cash, accruals, and multiple bank accounts
- Prepare variance analysis, and management reports
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in records.
- Assist with an ERP software data integration and "go live" process
- Work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance
- Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or parts passed strongly preferred
- 2+ years of audit and/or accounting experience
- Management reporting, and multi-entity reconciliation experience
- ERP software, and Advanced Excel skills
