Bartender
Lord's, an English bistro in Greenwich Village, is hiring a bartender for both dinner service and weekend brunch service.
Our bartenders are responsible for making and batching consistent cocktails, opening and closing the restaurant, upholding cleanliness of the bar, taking food and beverage orders from guests, maintaining food and beverage knowledge, running food and drinks, bussing and resetting tables, putting away inventory, and assisting elsewhere in the dining room as needed. Our bartenders report to the Assistant General Manager, the General Manager, the Owners and the Chef de Cuisine. We pride ourselves on maintaining a positive workplace culture, displaying great hospitality to our guests and colleagues, cooking delicious food, and serving delicious cocktails -- we expect our team to maintain and improve all elements of the restaurant. The ideal candidate has Manhattan bartending experience. We are looking for 4 shifts a week, with the potential to cover shifts as needed. Serving experience is a plus!
