Position Summary
Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a proactive People Operations Coordinator to support HR operations and employee services initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist with HR programs, employee communications, and administrative coordination within the HR department.
This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple HR-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations Support
Assist with day-to-day HR administrative activities and employee support services.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Support onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
Employee Services Coordination
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and programs.
Assist with HR communications and internal announcements.
Coordinate employee engagement activities and HR initiatives.
Reporting & Compliance
Generate HR reports and maintain employee data accuracy.
Ensure HR documentation complies with company policies and regulatory standards.
Assist with HR audits and compliance reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with payroll, recruiting, and operations teams to support HR programs.
Assist HR leadership in implementing workforce initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in HR coordination or administrative HR support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential employee information responsibly.
Preferred Qualifications
HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
Experience supporting HR operations in government contracting environments.
