Physician Assistant - Dermatology
Position Overview
We are seeking a Board Certified Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for a full-time dermatology locum tenens assignment. This role manages a high-volume patient load in a clinical setting, requiring strong dermatology expertise and proficiency in Epic EMR.
Dermatology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Locum Tenens) Schedule & Shift Details
- Status: Full-Time Locum Tenens
- Duration: July through January
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Shift Structure: Standard 8-hour day shifts; no call requirements.
- Block Scheduling: Not available.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Patient Volume: High-volume clinic seeing approximately 25–35 patients per day.
- Support Staff: Robust clinical support provided at a ratio of one staff member (LPN, RN, or MA) for every 12 patients.
- Charting: Extensive use of Epic EMR for all patient documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Licensure: Active New York State license in hand.
- Certification: Board Certification is required.
- Experience: * Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in Dermatology.
- Recent, hands-on experience with Epic EMR is required.
- Life Support: Active BLS certification required.
