Role Description
Work as a member of the Equity Derivative Solutions (“EDS”) team within WM’s Investment Solutions group. Partnering with the equity division, the EDS team primarily helps to deliver hedging and monetization solutions to high net-worth clients that hold concentrated equity positions in their portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate and drive day-to-day onboarding of clients from WM to IED platform ensuring information flow between multiple parties and process efficiency across divisions
Enable smooth execution of all elements of trade lifecycle process
Support platform build-out and enhancement:
ensure policy and process adherence
promote and implement process enhancements / streamlining, including technology solutions
assist in project management
assist in development and maintenance of reporting and metrics framework
become key contact for internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., finance, accounting, math, economics)
Strong analytical skills and entrepreneurial attitude
Dynamic and effective communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work independently, prioritize work, manage time and meet deadlines
Willingness and ability to operate well in a collaborative, team-oriented, dynamic sales and trading atmosphere
Willingness and ability to collaborate on projects over varying time horizons
Interest in capital markets, particularly in transactional products

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
