Senior Loan Documentation Specialist

: Pay Range: $18.06 - $24.00 Prepares complex Commercial and Business Banking loan documents by using a third party system (Laser Pro). The position is responsible for interpreting Loan Approval Records to determine necessary documents to perfect and complete the loan as well as the legal documents needed to support the banks lending process and lien position. This position is responsible for ensuring documents are prepared accurately and in accordance with the banks loan policy. This would also include understanding the banks loan policy contents and understanding all loan documents. The person in this role is responsible for helping the lending teams develop complete documents. Understand the complete loan process to train and teach other Loan Document Specialists. Thoroughly understand the lien perfection process for various types of collateral including real estate, business assets and vehicles along with insurance requirements on the collateral. Education and Experience:

• Associate degree or equivalent of education and experience
• 2 years' experience in Loan Documentation

Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements: Nautilus, thorough knowledge of Loan Documents, FiServe and LaserPro Tasks Performed:

• 50% Prepare loan documents according to bank policy and the Loan Approval Record for complex closings For example, SBA, Participation, Floor Plans, Multi-Borrower or Multi-Collateral requested by lenders and maintains log of work produced.
• 15% Correspondence with lenders and attorneys relating to documentation questions.
• 15% Review current files before preparing loan documents to validate required documents and alleviate duplication. Validates correct documents are accuracy produced.
• 5% Assist collateral area of department as needed.
• 5% Gather monthly production data and prepare month end management reports.
• 5% Other duties as assigned
• 5% Review Laser Pro updates of system to stay current with changes and laws. Assist in maintenance of loan documentation software and software testing.
