Job Description
- Prepare and prosecute patent applications with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct in-depth patent searches and analyze results to support client needs.
- Collaborate with clients to develop effective intellectual property strategies.
- Advise clients on patent portfolio management and related legal matters.
- Draft legal documents, including responses to office actions and appeal briefs.
- Stay informed about changes in patent law and industry trends.
- Work closely with other attorneys and team members to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A strong educational background in law, with a focus on intellectual property.
- Experience in patent preparation and prosecution across various industries.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills to convey complex legal concepts.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with a preference for USPTO registration.
