Trading Services
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Work with sales and trading to book trades, and close the deals so that issuers receive the funds and clients receive the bonds they bought. Support the secondary trading done by the desk and supervise the trade lifecycle, including trade booking, reconciliation of activity, and settlement of trades. Support Fixed Income products, including the Muni bonds, corporate bonds, treasuries, and TOBs. Capture all transactions in Risk Management Systems. Complete intraday and end-of- day processes, including completing and reconciliation of checks to ensure capture of new trading activity and general book management has been processed accurately. Work closely with the operations functions and infrastructure groups. Ensure all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed off on a timely basis. Communicate with all support teams to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of queries. Participate in and contribute to strategic initiatives while improving and evolving processes and business architecture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field of study plus Two (2) years of experience in job offered or as Trading Services, Trade Support, Trader, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: securities and derivatives; Industry securities settlement platforms and functionality, including DTCC, Euroclear, and FedWire; TRACE and MSRB transaction reporting requirements; Booking and reconciling trades with internal and external clients; Tradeweb; MarketAxess; and Bloomberg.
Job Location: 383 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $96,000 - $131,000 per year.
