Restaurant General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Restaurant General Manager to oversee all daily operations of a high-volume hospitality venue in Sloatsburg. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, building strong teams, maintaining operational excellence, and driving overall business performance.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in restaurant management, team development, financial accountability, and hospitality-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure smooth and efficient service

• Lead, train, coach, and develop management and hourly staff

• Maintain high standards for guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and operational execution

• Manage labor costs, scheduling, payroll, and daily financial reporting

• Monitor inventory levels, ordering, and cost controls to maximize profitability

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations

• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly

• Drive team accountability, morale, and a positive workplace culture

• Collaborate with ownership and leadership on operational goals, promotions, and business growth strategies

• Maintain strong vendor relationships and oversee facility maintenance needs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant general management experience preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Experience managing high-volume restaurant operations

• Knowledge of P&L management, labor controls, and inventory systems

• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment

• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
