Part-Time LCSW – Clinical & Supervision Role

Mindful Therapy Solutions is seeking an experienced, thoughtful, and grounded Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a unique part-time role that blends clinical work, supervision, and in-office clinical support .

This position is located in Staten Island and is an in office position only. The position is ideal for a seasoned clinician who enjoys providing quality care while also supporting other clinicians in maintaining strong, ethical, and consistent clinical work.

About the Role

This role is designed to support both the clinical integrity and day-to-day flow of a busy outpatient practice. In addition to carrying a small caseload, you will serve as a steady and reliable presence within the office—supporting clinicians, helping maintain consistency in clinical standards, and contributing to a calm, professional environment.

Responsibilities

Clinical Work

• Maintain a caseload of approximately 10–15 clients per week
• Provide high-quality, consistent, and ethically grounded care

Supervision & Clinical Support

• Provide group supervision (1x/week) and/or individual clinical support as needed
• Be available to clinicians for case consultation and guidance
• Support newer clinicians in developing strong clinical judgment, boundaries, and professionalism

Chart & Documentation Review

• Review clinician documentation for quality, completeness, and clinical appropriateness
• Identify patterns of concern and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Help ensure documentation aligns with clinical standards and payer expectations

In-Office Clinical Presence

• Provide a steady, professional presence within the office during designated hours
• Serve as a point of contact for clinicians when clinical questions or situations arise
• Support real-time problem solving in a calm, thoughtful, and boundaried manner
• Help ensure that the office environment remains professional, consistent, and clinically sound
• Be available to address sensitive or time-sensitive client concerns when needed

Qualifications

• Active LCSW license (NY required)
• Minimum 5–10+ years clinical experience
• Prior supervision experience preferred
• Strong understanding of documentation standards and medical necessity
• Ability to balance support with accountability
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Compensation

• Clinical sessions: $60–$70 per session
• Administrative / supervision work: $50–$75 per hour
• Additional monthly compensation may be available based on role scope

Schedule

• Part-time, flexible schedule
• Consistent in-office hours required to support team presence and continuity
