Digital Communications Manager

The Digital Communications Manager is a dynamic communicator who blends traditional communications skills with content creation expertise to amplify Envision's voice across digital platforms. This role will report to the Co-Executive Director and requires someone comfortable both behind and in front of the camera—drafting press materials and pitching media while also serving as an online spokesperson who can deliver compelling content that engages and mobilizes audiences.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and execute digital content strategy across social media, email, and online platforms to reach and engage target audiences
• Create compelling multimedia content including videos, graphics, testimonials, and explainers—frequently serving as on-camera spokesperson delivering commentary and analysis
• Draft press releases, media advisories, statements, and other communications materials to support rapid response and earned media efforts
• Manage and build relationships with media contacts, digital influencers, and content creators to expand the Fund's reach
• Lead email campaigns that inform, mobilize, and engage supporters with clear calls to action
• Monitor social trends, breaking news, and online conversations to identify strategic engagement opportunities
• Collaborate with Co-Executive Director and external consultants on messaging, content calendar, and campaign execution
• Partner with leadership, program, and development teams to create consistent, mission-aligned messaging across all channels and campaigns.
• Track digital metrics and analyze performance to optimize content strategy and demonstrate impact
• Stay current on communications trends and tools, and identify opportunities to strengthen Envision’s digital presence and reach.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of communications and digital content experience, preferably in social justice or advocacy organizations
• Strong writing skills with ability to craft compelling press materials and social content
• Comfortable and confident on camera with ability to deliver clear, engaging commentary
• Proficiency with social media and AI platforms, including their design and editing tools
• Experience building media and influencer relationships
• Creative storyteller who can translate complex issues into accessible, shareable content
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and respond quickly to breaking news
• Deep commitment to immigrant rights and racial justice
• Proactive and operates with a sense of urgency
• Demonstrated collaborative work style.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
