Exterior Team Member – Event Operations

Location: Stonewall Estate, Delhi, NY

Type: Event-based / Part-time (Seasonal)

Exterior Support

The Exterior Team Member supports the successful execution of outdoor events at Stonewall Estate, a premier Catskills destination wedding and event venue. This role focuses on assisting with exterior event setup, maintaining the presentation of event spaces, supporting guest experience, and contributing to a seamless event flow.

The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.

Key Responsibilities

Event Setup & Breakdown

Assist with the setup, staging, reset, and breakdown of all venue spaces, including:

• Ceremony spaces
• Cocktail hour areas
• Reception and gathering spaces

Support the overall presentation and readiness of event areas to maintain a polished, guest-ready appearance throughout the event.

Bar & Beverage Support (As Needed)

Provide assistance to the bar team during events when requested.

• Help with stocking bar items (ice, beer, wine, liquor)
• Refill water stations when required
• Transporting non-alcoholic beverage dispensers to/from venue sites

Guest Experience & Transportation

Operate and assist with golf cart transportation for guests and staff.

• Provide guest guidance and general hospitality support
• Assist with parking and directional needs
• Support transportation coordination during arrivals and departures, including shuttles

General Event Support

• Assist with real-time event needs and adjustments
• Communicate clearly with team members and venue leadership
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor during high-volume or time-sensitive periods
• Uphold Stonewall Estate’s standards for safety, service, and guest experience

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Comfortable with physical labor, including frequently lifting and moving items exceeding 50 lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Quick problem-solving abilities

Schedule & Expectations

Availability required primarily on event days (Fridays and Saturdays), with flexibility to support select weekday setup shifts.

• Seasonal availability during peak wedding and event season (typically May through October)
• Must be able to work a majority of scheduled events

Hourly pay for all hours worked (including setup, event execution, and breakdown), at a competitive rate commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
