General Laborers - Year-Round Construction Work
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour - $25.00/hour, based on experience
About the Opportunity Wolcott Construction Services is seeking motivated, hard-working individuals who are eager to learn and grow with a company that's expanding rapidly. Were looking for team members who bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to build a long-term career in construction.
This is a year-round position we do not lay off, and our crews work outdoors in all weather conditions.
What We Build We specialize in post-frame and steel-frame buildings, including:
-Storage buildings -Livestock facilities -Warehouses -Agricultural and commercial shopsPosition Overview: General Laborer As a General Laborer, you'll support our skilled carpenters and job site teams with a range of hands-on tasks. Responsibilities include:
-Assisting carpenters on construction sites -Preparing, loading, and organizing materials -Maintaining a clean and safe job environment -Performing physically demanding labor, including lifting up to 80 lbs. regularlyTransportation Note: All employees are expected to reliably get to the job site. We work within a 70-mile radius of Warsaw, NY. Please note that public transportation is not available to our current job sites.
Work Schedule
-Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 AM -Occasional Saturdays may be required -Standard 10-hour days with frequent overtime; flexibility is important Compensation & Benefits -Starting at $18/hour - $25/hour; wages and salaries are largely determined by the level of effort an employee puts forth, as well as their knowledge and abilities. -Year-round employment - no seasonal layoffs -Performance-based bonuses -Health insurance -Simple IRA with a 3% company match -Paid vacation -Paid sick timeIf you're dependable, physically capable, and ready to help build high-quality structures from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you.
