FESTIVÁL Café (UES) Hiring Part-Time Bartender/Barista (WEEKEND) – $35-$45/hr w/ Tips

FESTIVÁL Café, a cocktail-forward café and restaurant on the Upper East Side, is hiring a full-time Bartender/Barista to lead our daytime service.

This is a high-responsibility, high-upside role for someone who can handle both coffee + craft cocktails while owning the bar during slower dayparts and building relationships with regulars. Must have solid waitering, bartending and barista skills. Must have fine dining experience.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Saturday 10am-12 and Sunday 10am-12pm (approx. 24 hours/week)
• Compensation: Tipped minimum wage + tips + event pay
• Expected Earnings: ~$35–$45/hour all-in
• Tip Pool: Small team no support staff

You Must Be Available for ALL Shifts:

• Saturday: 10am-12am
• Sunday: 10am-12am

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years NYC hospitality experience (required)
• Fine dining experience (required)
• Strong background in craft cocktails + bar service
• Experience with espresso + coffee programs (or desire to take ownership and grow one)
• Ability to work independently and manage a shift with minimal supervision. Solo rockstar!
• Comfortable working in a 2-person team environment
• Must be able to handle volume and stay composed “in the weeds”
• Strong hospitality instincts — great with regulars and neighborhood clientele
• Fluent English required; Spanish strongly preferred
