We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Superintendent to join our growing team in Kingston, NY. In this role, you will support the Project Executive, Project Manager, and Project Superintendent by supervising daily construction activities and ensuring high-quality project delivery. You will coordinate multiple trades on-site to help deliver projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily field operations to achieve project milestones and completion deadlines.
- Monitor job site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations.
- Collect and report project data using smartphones, tablets, and computers.
- Ensure quality workmanship and help maintain the project schedule and budget.
- Communicate project updates, delays, and issues to the Project Superintendent and project team.
- Oversee on-site construction workers and subcontractors as assigned.
- Maintain a detailed daily job site log and project records.
- Use construction management software for reporting and documentation.
- Supervise assigned construction activities and assist with problem-solving in the field.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building Trades, or a related field;
OR - Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience supervising construction activities across multiple trades.
Required Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours.
- Comfort navigating rough or uneven terrain.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to obtain OSHA 30-Hour Certification (current certification preferred).
