Operations & Production Coordinator

Marquet NYC is a catering and private dining company working with high-end clients across New York City. We create refined, personalized experiences with a strong sense of aesthetic and intention.
We are seeking a highly organized, systems-minded Operations & Production Coordinator to help build structure behind the scenes and streamline weekly culinary execution.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on logistics, clarity, and efficiency and wants to help scale a growing hospitality brand.
Core Responsibilities Vendor & Ordering SystemsManage weekly orders and recurring staple purchasing
Transition ordering from Instacart-heavy to structured vendor systems to larger ones
Monitor par levels and maintain a master ingredient list
Flag cost fluctuations and identify savings opportunities
Organize weekly cook schedules
Create clear prep sheets and task breakdowns
Coordinate grocery supplements and last-minute needs
Ensure cooks are fully set up for success
Improve operational efficiency week over week
Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions
Extremely organized and detail-oriented, very tech literate
- 2+ years in catering, private chef, or restaurant kitchen management
Comfortable creating Google Sheets
Strong understanding of food cost and sourcing
Calm under pressure
Interested in growing with a modern hospitality company
$30/hour
10–15 hours per week
Hybrid schedule (remote planning + in-person production oversight as needed)
