Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle accounts payable processes using SAP and Cimmra. This role focuses on non-inventory invoice processing, vendor invoice reviews, and financial reconciliations. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams to optimize workflows and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable using SAP.

• Process non-inventory invoices via SAP.

• Review vendor invoices, statements, T&E reports, and credit card bills; reconcile discrepancies.

• Perform month-end close activities and generate all related reports.

• Handle bank transactions including deposits, check writing, wire transfers, and ACH payments (with management approval).

• Coordinate vendor setup and ongoing management.

• Optimize invoice approval workflows and internal processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain MIS using Microsoft Office tools.

• Support the annual operating expense budgeting process.

• Conduct periodic closing activities and track monthly provisions.

• Maintain and update lists of AMCs and other fixed charges.

• Assist with month-end GL analysis for financial statements and cash flow planning.

• Lead cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and asset evaluations.

• Update and share MIS related to utility consumption.

• Support corporate secretarial practices and maintain records as guided by the COSEC team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts payable and invoicing.

• Proficiency in SAP

• Strong data entry and purchase order management skills.

• Ability to review and reconcile vendor invoices and statements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with way match and manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with financial compliance and regulatory standards.

This is a Contract position based out of Central Islip, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
