HVAC Service Technician - Hudson Valley/Westchester Region

Shelter Air is looking for an experienced HVAC service technician who knows these systems inside and out—and cares about the people breathing the air they condition.

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ years of hands-on HVAC experience in the Hudson Valley/Westchester region.
• You've seen it all—old nasty boilers, ancient gas furnaces, and everything in between.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Experience with heat pumps, mini splits, and IAQ technologies preferred.
• EPA certification required; NATE certification a plus.
• Someone who loves to learn—whether it's new technology or another way to solve an old problem.
• Comfortable working in residential settings—from old farmhouses to new high-performance builds.
• You value precision, curiosity, and doing right by the customer.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems with accuracy and care.
• Wrangle those old boilers and furnaces that have seen better decades.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system tune-ups.
• Communicate clearly with clients—explain what's wrong and why it matters.
• Work collaboratively with our team to deliver solutions that improve comfort, health, and efficiency.
