Partnerships & Alliances Manager

The Partnerships & Alliances (P&A) team at Thomson Reuters is responsible for end-to-end lifecycle management of strategic partnerships. From strategy development, through assessment, recruitment, negotiation, onboarding, launch and ongoing management; the Partnerships & Alliances team oversees numerous partnerships working collaboratively in a variety of commercial models.

About the Role

In this role as a Partnerships Manager, you will:

  • Promote Thomson Reuters products and services to partner sales teams, helping them understand collaboration benefits
  • Drive sales through partnership channels with a focus on operational efficiency and excellence
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
  • Lead collaboration efforts with partner firms to develop and execute strategies for growing the pipeline of mutual sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with Product and Segment Marketing to plan and execute demand generation initiatives with partners
  • Engage Thomson Reuters direct sales teams to articulate the unique value of each partner and support their understanding of collaboration benefits
  • Keep partners informed about product strategy and roadmaps, collecting feedback for ongoing refinement

About You

You may be a fit for the role of Partnerships Manager if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree w/6+ years experience in a similar role in Partner management, including sales, business development and managing large customer relationships
  • 5+ years’ Global industry experience at a minimum working for or selling into software/SaaS companies
  • Proven track record of driving sales through partnership channels across technology and services industries
  • Deep understanding of the AI and software technology landscape, including current trends and competitive dynamics
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic global accounts and partner ecosystems, including experience working with global systems integrators, accounting firms, and consulting firms; strong network-building and strategic partnering skills.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen, including expert business case development, financial modeling, strategic account planning, data analysis, and the ability to turn market insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments, manage multiple priorities, and travel periodically to meet partners or attend partner events.
  • Strong network building in the industry and strategic partnering; ability to understand market trends and industry dynamics, analyze data and provide actionable insights

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $137,900 USD - $256,100 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
