Position Overview:

A respected and growing healthcare system in the Upper Hudson Valley of New York is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join its dedicated outpatient clinic team . This is a unique opportunity to practice high-quality rheumatologic care in a community-centered setting that prioritizes relationship-based medicine and a team approach to chronic disease management.

You'll work in a collaborative environment alongside a broad network of primary care and subspecialists, with full administrative and ancillary support. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about patient continuity and improving access to care in an underserved yet vibrant rural region.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and manage autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders (RA, lupus, gout, etc.)
• Administer biologics, joint injections, and infusions
• Interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics
• Collaborate closely with internal medicine, PT, and specialty teams
• Offer occasional telehealth to expand access
• Educate patients and families on long-term disease management
• Engage in community outreach and quality improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile:

• MD or DO with Rheumatology Fellowship training
• Board Certified/Eligible in Rheumatology
• Licensed or eligible in New York
