Compensation Range : $18.00-$20.50

Job Purpose

The Janitor at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and manufacture of advanced power solutions, maintain a clean facility in order to create a comfortable and safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms daily including toilet and floor, refill the supplies (Paper towels, soap, tissue).
• Place cleaning supplies back in their designated area.
• Sweep floors and dust for each department daily.
• Clean kitchen areas including tables and removing expired and leftover trash from refrigerator.
• Sweep and mop hallways, entrance, and Cafeteria areas daily.
• Vacuum offices weekly and check wall, vent grid for accumulation of dust, if dirty clean properly.
• Dispose of all garbage from waste baskets from each department.
• May remove stains from surfaces as walls, floors, rugs using cleaning solutions.
• Pick up garbage, debris from outside parking lot.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1+ year of cleaning experience

General Job Requirements

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
• Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
