Sales Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking 6 professional, outgoing Sales Consultants for a high visibility Wall Street Journal (WSJ) street distribution activation in New York City.

The objective of this activation is to hand out physical copies of the Wall Street Journal to targeted professionals during morning commute hours at key agency hubs.

This is a fast paced, customer facing role suited for individuals who are confident, punctual, and comfortable engaging commuters in busy transit environments.

Event Details

• Date: Wednesday, May 13, 2026

• Timeframe: 7:40am-12pm (there's a good chance all copies will be passed out before 12pm, so shift could end earlier, but they need to plan for 4 hours just incase, and 7:40 is the absolute latest time they can arrive)

• Openings: 6

• Location: New York City (6 different locations, 1 consultant per street corner, locations listed below)

• Total Copies to Distribute: 2,500 (each consultant will have around 415 copies to handout at their location)

• Objective: Hand out free WSJ newspapers

Target Locations & Assignments

Sales Consultants will be stationed at one of the following high priority agency commuter zones:

• WPP (WTC 3): The Oculus - inside PATH and subway exits

• Omnicom Media Group: Corner of Broadway & Fulton St

• Publicis (375 Hudson): Houston St subway exit (1 Train)

• IPG (100 W 33rd St): Corner of 33rd St & 7th Ave (Penn Station commuter flow)

• Dentsu (150 E 42nd St): Lexington Ave entrance at Grand Central

• Horizon Media: Canal St subway exit (A/C/E Lines)
