• Valid New York State certification in Business
• Ability to motivate students and instruct students in developing strong problem-solving skills
• Evidence of a desire to create a classroom that is flexible and student centered
• Evidence of incorporating differentiated instruction in instructional planning to meet the needs of all students.
• Be active in professional organizations and continued professional development.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students at a variety of ability levels and to contribute toward the growth of an exemplary business program.

• Demonstrated effective classroom management skills that foster a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Evidence of incorporating differentiated instruction in instructional planning to meet the needs of all students.

• Demonstrated knowledge of NYS and National Learning Standards in Business.
• Evidence of effective communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated ability to infuse technology into the instructional program.

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

SALARY: $44,840 - $53,700 Per WTA Contract
