THE POSITION
Rubenstein Communications is seeking a talented, innovative, and solutions-oriented Digital Content Creator to join our multi-disciplinary Digital Group. This role integrates graphic design and production skills with a strong understanding of content strategy and client management.

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable bridging the gap between these disciplines including:
  • Distilling client needs into creative solutions to be used across appropriate content platforms, such as social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, and X), websites, micro-sites, email, digital advertising, and more.
  • A strong understanding of current best practices and trends in the digital marketing and design landscape.
  • A desire to think outside of the box and present new ideas to clients that may not have asked for them.
  • An ability to think on their feet and adapt for a broad range of client types across a range of sectors including Arts, Culture, Finance, Legal, Sports, Governmental, and Entertainment.
The Digital Content Creator will work closely with our team’s digital strategists and primarily be responsible for supporting the overall digital design and production needs of our clients as well as assisting with company marketing materials. At times, the Digital Content Creator will be asked to support non-digital efforts, so an openness to challenges and learning is a must. This role requires extensive inter-department communication and the ability to effectively communicate across teams.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and produce graphics, templates, videos, and other visual assets for social media campaigns—from Reels and infographics to formal videos
  • Work within existing client brand guidelines to create on-brand content that feels fresh, polished, and platform-appropriate
  • Create simple animations and motion graphics to elevate static content
  • Adapt content for different platform specs, aspect ratios, and audience expectations
  • Support as needed with internal Rubenstein Communications brand materials, like new business pitch decks, case studies, presentations, etc.
  • Maintain organized asset libraries and template systems for efficiency across multiple clients
  • Design for a variety of web related projects: microsites, landing pages, motion graphics, infographics, animated gifs, data-visualizations, emails, display ads, etc.
  • Ensure that account managers are kept fully informed regarding activities and client plans
  • Stay current and adaptable to platform and industry trends, the evolving social media landscape, and activities in assigned sectors
  • Nimbly work well within a collaborative team structure
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Proficiency using template-based platforms such as Canva, Elementor, etc.
  • Basic video editing capabilities and comfortability working with footage, captions, and simple cuts
  • Basic animation and motion graphic design
  • Basic presentation design
  • Experience using AI image generation tools; basic understanding/familiarity with AI and LLMs
  • Demonstrated expertise with digital platforms, analytics tools, and content production software
  • Understanding of platform-specific best practices and how to optimize content for each
  • Ability to identify emerging trends and translate them into strategic opportunities for clients
  • Ability to think critically and creatively and develop new and interesting ideas
  • Familiarity with day-to-day tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Sprout Social, Meltwater, Google Analytics, and others
  • Experience with project management, including maintaining version control and consolidating edits from multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task, and move quickly with efficiency and attention to detail while ensuring deadlines are met
  • Able to take verbal direction quickly and accurately
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously and taking initiative
  • Exhibit initiative and the drive to succeed; creative, curious, and energetic personality
  • Focus on team success and collaboration
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
  • College degree preferred – focus in Graphic / Web Design or a related field, is ideal
  • Portfolio demonstrating social media content creation across multiple platforms
  • 3–5 years of experience, ideally in an agency, non-profit, or campaign setting where multiple clients and/or projects are worked on simultaneously
  • Versatility to work across multiple sectors helpful

WORKPLACE | COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Workplace: We operate in a hybrid workplace model with designated on-site and remote workdays. Our schedule is Monday and Friday from home, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the office. Staff are required to be within commuting distance of our office on remote/flexible days.

Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on several factors, including (but not limited to): the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position , and business or organizational needs. T he Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Employees are also eligible for a discretionary bonus not included in this pay range.
