Law Partner - Trust and Estates

Our client a midsized law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Law Partner specializing in Trust and Estates to join their law firm in New York. This leadership role is designed for a legal professional with a proven track record in managing complex estate planning and trust matters, as well as mentoring junior attorneys. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Trust and Estates practice group, overseeing all aspects of client engagement.
• Develop strategic plans for business growth and establish strong client relationships.
• Provide expert legal counsel on a wide range of estate planning issues, including wills, trusts, and estate tax matters.
• Mentor and train junior attorneys and support staff in best practices and legal strategies.
• Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters in court when necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting estate planning and communicate these changes effectively to clients and staff.
• Foster collaboration with other practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive client services.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the New York Bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Trust and Estates law.
• Proven track record of business development and client relationship management.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in estate planning, trust administration, and probate law.
