**Romanian Interpreter – Remote | Independent Contractor** Akula Interpreting & Translation LLC (MWBE certified) seeks a professional Romanian interpreter for remote independent contractor assignments in healthcare, legal, education & government. Requirements: 3+ yrs experience, C2 English (EF-SET/IELTS/TOEFL/ALTA), native Romanian proficiency proof, HIPAA cert, government ID, professional CV. Equipment: laptop/desktop, wired USB headset, webcam, ethernet only. VRI: solid background, black collared shirt, proper lighting. 40-hr medical training required for medical work. Legal cert preferred. Competitive per-minute rates, flexible scheduling. Independent contractor position — interpreter responsible for taxes, equipment & workspace. EOE.
