Dispatcher (Router)
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in dispatching or routing (LTL or courier experience preferred).
- Local Knowledge: geographical knowledge of Long Island, the 5 Boroughs, and the Tri-State area.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with dispatch software (e.g., Profit Tools, TMW, or similar) and GPS tracking systems.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills—you must be able to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Availability: Ability to work early morning shifts (standard for the trucking industry) and occasional overtime as needed.

- Strategic Routing: Plan and sequence daily delivery routes for a fleet of drivers, ensuring maximum stops with minimum mileage.
- Real-Time Dispatching: Communicate effectively with drivers via radio, phone, or tablet to provide instructions, address delays, and handle route changes on the fly.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the bridge between our customers and drivers, providing accurate ETAs and resolving delivery issues proactively.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all routes and driver assignments comply with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Data Management: Utilize routing software and GPS tracking systems to monitor fleet movement and update delivery statuses.
