**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with consideration for the unique needs of a chemical or petrochemical location.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols to Allied Universal and client representatives as instructed.
+ Assist with controlling access to the premises and/or restricted areas as directed by site protocols.
+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies by following established procedures and communicating important information promptly.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
