Inspectors and Auditors
Inspectors and Auditors at Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc. in Buffalo, New York. Monitor and interpret relevant local, state, federal, and international regulations related to labor laws, human rights, workplace safety, and environmental compliance. Assess clients factory processes, manufacturing sites, and products to ensure compliance with various standards and other client-specific ethical and sustainability requirements. Coordinate and conduct audits to evaluate compliance with applicable laws and industry-specific standards and prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommended corrective actions. Analyze clients corrective action plans for social responsibility compliance and provide recommendations to address root causes of problems. Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation and records for inspections, audits, and internal reviews. Provide regular updates on regulatory and legislative changes to management and clients. Assist in integrity-related claims investigations. Serve as liaison with clients and relevant third parties on regulatory matters, including implementation of best practices in compliance management systems. Travel extensively (up to 80%) across the U.S. to conduct site inspections and audits to ensure ongoing compliance. Telecommuting to employers HQ permitted. Salary: $103,200 per year.
